Design thinking comes from Tim Brown (President and CEO) and David Kelley (who later founded the Stanford Design School), the founders of IDEO, "an award-winning global design firm that takes a human-centered, design-based approach to helping organizations in the public and private sectors innovate and grow."~ IDEO website, 2015. Their approach to design has sparked a movement in how innovation is fostered.
